Regardless of whether this is your first venture into the world of residential letting, or whether you are an experienced landlord, we offer the same friendly and professional service to everyone, so you can rest assured that our fully trained experienced staff will look after all your needs as a successful landlord.  Please contact us to discuss your options with us in more detail.

GINA GREENWOOD (Partner)  I started working as a junior in a Nelson based Agency when I was sixteen and subsequently left three years later to set up a new Agency in Colne with another Agent as a sales negotiator.  I remained with that firm for eight years up to having my two children.  A few years later I returned to work for an Agency in Barnoldswick and ultimately left to set up independantly in Padiham as The Dwelling Place, of which I am extremely proud. When released from the Office, I chill out keeping on top of my garden and walking my dog.  My main hobby is ice skating, which involves extremely early mornings and I enjoy a game of tennis, weather permitting.

ANGIE SNELL (Partner)  After my full time education I worked in various sectors as well as studying for qualifications including Management and the NAEA awards, but also spent time and money investing in and renovating property.  I was first employed in the industry in Barnoldswick where I met Gina some 15 years ago.  We set up The Dwelling Place in 2006 and I have loved every minute of it despite the recession! I am a fanatical gardener, keen skier and also love cycling and walking.  Recently I completed the Leeds-Liverpool canal cycle in 20 hours for charity.

CLAIRE WHITTAKER (Lettings Negotiator) After Leaving School I took up an apprenticeship with a Family run Insurance Brokers in Blackburn where I eventually managed the  Household and Let Property Insurance section and remained in this position for 8 years. After my boss retired I decided I wanted to do something slightly different, and when the opportunity came for me to work at The Dwelling Place I jumped at the chance to expand into this field. In my spare time I enjoy reading, walking, travelling and generally having a good time with friends and family.

RACHEL WILSON  (Lettings Negotiator) I am the newest member of the team at The Dwelling Place. I used to work in the health sector but wanted a change of direction and have I got it! I am loving the varied day and different skills needed to work in the lettings world. In my spare time I enjoy being with my partner and two little ones walking and exploring. We skate at the weekend as my little girl has been learning for over a year.

SHIRLEY HOLMES  (Lettings Negotiator) I joined The Dwelling Place this year after being made redundant from an Estate Agents locally. I used to work mainly in Sales so it is a new area for me in the Lettings, I love getting out and about in the locality and meeting different people

PAUL SMILLIE (Property Viewer) I joined The Dwelling Place 2 years ago as a viewer as I enjoyed watching property programs on TV and wanted the opportunity to try something different from my day to day job in the IT industry. I love meeting new people and showing them around our properties. I live locally and know the area really well. Outside of work I like hill walking and have been involved in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme. I have two grown up children and a grandson.
